Winners perform live in front of thousands of people at the 2nd Annual Charleston Green Fair on September 27th, collect cash prizes, studio time, and more.

Last year’s Charleston Green Fair drew over 5,000 people to Marion Square to learn about changes they can make in their lives to better the environment. This year’s music lineup includes Jesse Colin Young, the lead singer of ’60s sensations, the Youngbloods. Their hit song “Let’s Get Together” (“C’mon people now, smile on your brother”) became a soundtrack for peace in that era of great social change.

The Coastal Conservation League is searching for Jesse’s co-headliner. With our world in another flux of change – climate change – musicians and performance artists need to convince the public that it’s up to us to make a difference.

Voting ends at 11:59 PM September 1st.
