Tastes Of The South: Molly & Me Pecans

Born in Charleston to a military family, Kay grew up on U.S. Military bases all over the country, but her love of the Lowcountry pulled her home. She currently resides on a 150-acre farm outside of Charleston with her husband and their dogs, horses and chickens.

Molly & Me Pecans started in 2008 when Kay began picking up the pecans on the farm and started recipe testing, sharing her creations with family and friends. A hobby soon turned into a business and today she and one other team member produce wonderful seasoned and candied pecans—tasty twists on a classic Southern treat.

They create several flavors which can be used in a variety of different ways. I love to throw some of the Sneaky Hot pecans on my salads, fold the Sugar & Spice pecans into cookies or sprinkle the Cinnamon Sugar pecans onto ice cream or on top of a quick bread.
