After 5 weeks of minor repairs and refreshing the menu, Salt at Station 22 on Sullivan’s Island is reopening this Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 5:00pm!
The public is invited to join in the reopening. More fish options will be available along with menu items that one would expect to find ‘on an island’.
The new menu will change with the seasons but will offer year-round sushi and raw bar options along with daily fish specials that will vary based on availability of the freshest ingredients.
Chef Charles Arena, with the Crew Carolina group, is hands-on with creating the new menu. He is known for his years of extraordinary culinary work in the Charleston area and close relationships with local seafood purveyors.
“Hopefully this is just the first step in giving the islands the variety of fresh seafood that is clearly in demand. I’m excited to be apart of this reopening and offering sushi to the nightly menu is just the prologue to what’s in store”, says Arena.
The hours of operation for Salt are Monday-Thursday from 5pm-9pm and Friday & Saturday from 5pm-10pm with brunch service coming soon. Salt is located at 2205 Middle Street, Sullivan’s Island, SC 29482. Parking is available by valet adjacent to the restaurant. Reservations can be made by calling 843.883.3355 or through OpenTable.
Additional inquires can be made at info@SALTstation22.com. Crew Carolina also has The Boathouse at Breech Inlet (Isle of Palms, SC) and the much anticipated Ellis Creek Fish Camp (formerly Mimi’s) off of Harbor View Road in Charleston SC.
