A green thumb’s dream market: Plantasia is Charleston Horticultural Society’s Premier Plant Sale!

Provided

Plantasia is everything about plants. On Friday, April 13, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, April 14, from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m., Plantasia will once again be held at Wragg Square, 342 Meeting Street, in front of Second Presbyterian Church. Horticulturally-trained garden docents and volunteers will be available to help with plant selection and answer questions. Workshops will be offered every hour on the hour on topics ranging from basic garden to having chickens in the city. In addition, a wide selection of “Member’s Favorites,” plants grown and donated by Charleston Horticultural Society members, will be on sale at bargain prices. There will be a “Real Yard Sale” featuring previously loved garden items such as pots, furniture, and ornamental items. “Member’s Favorites” and “Real Yard Sale” will only be available for purchase Saturday.

All proceeds from Plantasia benefit the educational programs and other projects of the Charleston Horticultural Society, a non-profit membership organization founded in 2000 and open to all. For more information, call 579-9922 or visit www.charlestonhorticulturalsociety.org
