While Republicans in South Carolina may have overwhelmingly opted for Donald Trump in the Presidential primary on Feb. 20, 2016, Republicans on Sullivan’s Island chose Marco Rubio, whom Gov. Nikki Haley endorsed earlier in the week. Over on IOP, Rubio also won out, just. He squeaked ahead of Republican frontrunner Donald Trump by just 66 votes.
