WHERE: On The Osprey WHEN: 1 to 3 p.m. Haley Mae Campbell, our Isle of Palms hometown star, is travelling back from Nashville to bring us her award –winning music and style. Islanders have enjoyed her performances at the IOP festivals. Now in Nashville, she is receiving airplay and recognition as a country artist and songwriter. Campbell has opened for numerous country stars, including Dan & Shay, (who, BTW, are among the signers on the Country Artist Autographed Guitar being raffled at the Marina Festival.) Back here in Charleston, Campbell performed alongside headliner Sheryl Crow at Charleston’s 9th Annual First Flush Festival.
You can get a preview of Campbell’s music at HaleyMaeCampbell. com. Better yet, come on board the Osprey at the IOP Marina between 1 and 3 p.m. and enjoy her music – live and lovely.
WHERE: Morgan Creek Band Shell WHEN 4 to 6 p.m. The Lauren Hall Band will be filling the Marina air with the lively sound that so many are enjoying in the Lowcountry’s popular venues. Lauren Hall is a rising country artist, performer, and songwriter. Her country-pop sound is influenced by the styles of Taylor Swift, Alison Krauss, Shania Twain and others. Hall and her band played at The First Flush Festival, headlined by Sheryl Crow, and more recently the annual St. Pat’s In Five Points festival opening for Michael Ray. Hall has also opened for other notable acts such as Gary Allan, Thompson Square, David Nail, Tyler Farr, Chris Janson, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Love and Theft, and country music icon, Travis Tritt at his sold out show in Mount Pleasant.
Check out Hall’s tunes and one of her shows at ReverbNation.com/ laurenhallmusic. Then you’ll be sure to come back to the Marina and enjoy the party with the Lauren Hall Band.
The Guitar. The Raffle. Now here is the Raffle prize that is at the heart of the initiative for the IOP Marina Festival. The IOP Exchange Club is excited to offer this one-of-a-kind autographed guitar. Raffle tickets are only $20.
This unique item is currently in Nashville at Audio Productions Inc. Studio, (AudioProductions.com/), being signed by many great country artists. First on the list were Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Dirks Bentley, Dustin Lynch, Kane Brown, Dan and Shea, and Trace Adkins.
Each autograph is authenticated, and over 25 artists are expected to sign.
Once the guitar is won, the IOP Exchange Club will send a letter to the studio, where it will be put in a binder for the musicians to read. API has shared that it is a favorite past-time for artists to see the worthy causes their signatures have supported.
The logo on the guitar, “Veterans Water Access”, is integral to the Exchange Club’s vision of creating a unique water access program for those within the missions of the Isle of Palms Exchange Club – one of which is support of US veterans.
The guitar will be presented to the raffle winner in a clear acrylic case for protection, suitable for mounting. The case is valued at $200, and the guitar… is….priceless.
